Practice and refine your skills with our Figure Drawing sessions. Drawing the human form live is an essential exercise for artists of all abilities, mediums, and styles. Get into the practice with quick studies, gestures, and extended poses, clothed and unclothed. Participants are self-directed and without an instructor in an open studio format. Participants are to provide their own drawing board, paper, and materials of choice.

Celebrate art, culture and heritage at our third annual Grimsby Arts Walk, Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11:00 - 3:00 pm. This vibrant event encourages participants to explore Grimsby as they walk between four participating venues - Coronation Park, Grimsby Museum, Grimsby Public Art Gallery and Nelles Manor Museum. Each venue will feature a rich tapestry of art displays and interactive experiences that showcase local creativity and history. More details on the below schedule to come!

Call for Artists and Artisans
As part of the event, the Grimsby Public Art Gallery will be hosting a juried art show. All artists and artisans are welcome to submit their application for the juried show. Your work will be juried for quality and to ensure that a wide variety of mediums will be showcased, and all artwork submitted to the jury must be for sale.
Grimsby Arts Walk juror’s welcome individual artists and artisans, working in all mediums; painting, photography, sculpture, glass, woodturning, textiles, jewelry and more, with formal or informal training to apply. Artists are encouraged to submit artwork created within the last three years. Established and emerging artists are welcome.
Grimsby Arts Walk accepts 80% original artworks and 20% may be reproductions such as giclée or limited-edition prints.
